RECONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDING OF REHABILITATION MEDICINE CENTRE OF «POLTAVA REGIONAL CLINICAL HOSPITAL NAMED AFTER M.V. SKLIFOSOVSKY OF THE POLTAVA REGIONAL COUNCIL», MUNICIPAL ENTERPRISE

    The project has investment attractiveness

Project effectiveness:
●  increase the number of beds from 30 to 50;
●  patients will be able to stay in comfortable conditions;
● Equipping with innovative equipment to meet the requirements of inclusive premises;
● Physical therapy and kinesiotherapy rooms, rooms for hardware physiotherapy, ergotherapy, psychological support, and assistive technologies will be equipped with modern equipment;
● simulators and medical equipment for rehabilitation will enable full or partial restoration of functional impairments in patients, including those sustained as a result of mine-blast injuries, and will allow restoring gait and lost functions of the upper and lower limbs;
●  hospital lift will provide unimpeded access to the 2nd floor of the building;
●  inclusive space: unhindered movement inside.

RECONSTRUCTION OF COMPLEX OF BUILDINGS OF «REGIONAL INSTITUTION FOR THE PROVISION OF PSYCHIATRIC CARE OF THE POLTAVA REGIONAL COUNCIL», MUNICIPAL ENTERPRISE

    The project has investment attractiveness

Objective: restoration of medical and diagnostic buildings, palliative care and rehabilitation departments, buildings of the economic complex with garages, warehouses, a food unit building, a pathological and anatomical department, a mental health centre, expert premises, departments for the application of compulsory medical measures, a service station building, a checkpoint and medical and labour workshops in the institution to provide highly qualified medical care to the population of the country.
Expected result:
bringing the premises of the institution's buildings where patients are kept in line with the building standards of the State Building Codes, which in turn will modernise the design of the premises as an integral part of the provision of quality medical services, which will increase the level of satisfaction of patients and medical staff; improving the quality of life and reducing social tension in society; improving the conditions of stay of patients in the institution; ensuring accessibility to the medical institution for people with disabilities; bringing the departments for the application of compulsory medical measures in line with the requirements of the order of the Ministry of Health No. 992.

Poltava region is a highly developed region in the centre of Ukraine. According to the rating from the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, in 2019 Poltava region continued to hold a strong position among the leading regions in the following areas: «Economic Efficiency», «Investment Development and Foreign Economic Cooperation», and «Financial Self-Sufficiency». The gross regional product of Poltava region amounted to UAH 150.9 billion, and per capita - UAH 106.2 thousand.

  • Foreign/capital investment and export structure

An analysis of foreign direct investment and capital investment, as well as the structure of exports, shows an urgent need to attract significant investments in such promising sectors as machine building and food processing, which remain underinvested. Increased investment in high-tech industries will help to gradually improve the structure of the regional economy, which is very important for the region, as well as to introduce innovative developments in promising industries in the region.

  • Development of industrial parks

Territorial communities of the region are considering the possibility of creating industrial parks on their territory. 19 territorial communities of Poltava region have potentially suitable land plots for the creation of industrial parks in the region. However, most of them have suspended active efforts to create industrial parks until the end of the war due to the full-scale war in Ukraine.

Overhaul of the premises of buildings 4, 5 of the departments of «Regional Mental Health Care Institution» Municipal Enterprise, to accommodate internally displaced (evacuated) persons

Project is being implemented at the expense of the regional budget and subventions from the state budget to local budgets. Project envisages the placement of a rehabilitation unit for victims of military operations and a separate block of premises for internally displaced (evacuated) persons on the first and second floors of a two-storey building. This improves the conditions of patients' stay in the facility, accessibility of the medical facility for people with disabilities by adapting the architectural space to the needs of people with limited mobility and people with disabilities, which increases the level of satisfaction of patients and medical staff. Project is primarily aimed at providing modern, highly qualified care to people affected by the hostilities.

About 1,300 enterprises of various forms of ownership are involved in industrial production.

    The mining industry has the largest share in the industrial sector of the regional economy, due to the presence of proven reserves of iron ore (over 17% of Ukraine's reserves), much of it rich ore.

    The presence of significant hydrocarbon reserves in the region has contributed to the formation of a powerful oil and gas industry in Poltava: over 43% of Ukrainian gas, 60% of gas condensate and 10% of oil are produced from the subsoil of Poltava. Hydrocarbon production is carried out in 16 districts of the region.
