PROJECT TO CREATE OPERATING UNITS
Operating unit has special areas for preparing patients for surgery, performing the operation itself and recovering from it. They are equipped with optimal lighting, ventilation and temperature control to ensure sterile and safe procedures. The operating unit is equipped with the necessary tools and equipment for a variety of surgical procedures, from minimally invasive to complex surgical interventions. The addition of an operating theatre to the rehabilitation centre will reduce the risk of complications that may arise during treatment. It will also give an opportunity to provide a full range of medical services for wounded soldiers, including surgery and subsequent rehabilitation. It is especially important that these procedures will be performed in appropriate conditions, which will help avoid possible complications associated with operations on the front lines.
RECONSTRUCTION WITH THE ADDITION OF A REHABILITATION ROOM
The physical rehabilitation room is a key element of the project, designed to ensure effective and safe restoration of physical functions of amputees. The physical rehabilitation room will be located in a newly built part of the rehabilitation centre and will be equipped with the most modern devices and equipment. The space is designed to meet the needs of servicemen with amputations, including convenient access, spacious rooms and specialised areas for different types of therapy.Main areas and equipment: Cardio Training Area - equipped with modern treadmills, exercise bikes and ellipticals with vital signs monitoring.Strength Training area - includes muscle strengthening equipment, free weights and special devices for rehabilitation after amputations.Prosthesis Training Area – is a specialised area for training with prostheses, including simulators for training in walking, running and other physical exercises with prostheses.
