Bukovyna Clinical Oncology Centre

Bukovyna Clinical Oncology Centre is a specialised healthcare institution. It provides qualified oncological care to the population and is unified by the specifics of its activities in Chernivtsi region which provides oncological diagnosis and treatment, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery in their integrated application. The Oncology Centre's efforts are aimed at providing the institution with modern diagnostic and treatment equipment, promoting early diagnosis, detection and treatment of cancer at early stages, which is the key to successful treatment.

The Oncology Centre has developed a project for the reconstruction of the outpatient clinic. The project is planned to be implemented in 2024-2025.
The main areas of reconstruction include:
- redevelopment and arrangement of a convenient entrance for medical vehicles with an access ramp for special vehicles and a separate entrance from the main street
- improving inclusiveness and accessibility for patients with disabilities,
- repairing the facade of the polyclinic building,
- insulation of the facade with modern energy-saving materials,
- arranging a secure storage facility,
- replacement of roofing and supporting structures,
- installation of stairs and ramps to the car park. Etc.

This project complies with modern regulations and European standards for the provision of a range of diagnostic and therapeutic measures, qualified specialised medical care.
The roject envisages increasing energy efficiency and access to alternative energy sources for the healthcare facility, namely, it is planned to provide energy from environmentally friendly sources in the future by installing solar panels. Improving energy efficiency of the clinic and reducing the use of heat energy by 30%, increasing the number of outpatient appointments for early diagnosis by 5000 per year, at least in the 10-year perspective.
